Teacher Feature

Billie Ammons

Our English Language Arts (ELA) instructor, Ms. Billie Ammons, is extremely passionate about teaching. She shares, “there is nothing that compares to seeing a child’s confidence grow stronger as they accomplish academic tasks that may have been challenging to them before.” ELA skills are critical to a child’s growth, [they] set the foundation for all subjects a student will experience.” she adds.

When she is not teaching, you can find Ms. Ammons reading books, completing jigsaw puzzles and letting out her creative side with diamond art projects. She shares her imaginative side with students through courses in graphic novels, speech and debate, creative writing and more.
